as a house rabbit, little foot has a nice habitat. she has a large cage that opens out into an expansive exercise pen in the family room. she has so many creature comforts - besides her litter pan and water bottle and food bowls, she has blankets and towels and a cat cave and a box of timothy hay to jump into and a box of toilet paper and paper towel tubes to play with and a soft cat bed in the cage and a doll bed with a fluffy blanket and stuffed animals. she's got plenty of room to relax and hide and play and have zoomies. plus she has company with her for at least 12 hours a day.
ander has been home from school since march because of the pandemic, so he has even more time to bond with his bunny. they built an easy and comfortable relationship with each other, so we decided to take it to the next level - supervised roaming outside the pen. it's quite entertaining to observe the mischief she gets into. her very favorite new place to hand out is in a darkish corner, under a table, on top of a stack of computer paper which she joyfully shreds and tosses about.
