tiny house festival

i took artemis to a tiny house festival. it was full of his kind of people and even had the canned ham camper of his dreams.

we really like this guy. got a t-shirt, patches, and shorts. activism & tiny house living made him a great person for my boy to talk to.

mamas & teens doing projects together makes my heart happy. this time it was making signs at board & brush.

summer solstice

the boys and i spent summer solstice with friends. we headed to purcelville to seek out the fields of flowers i'd heard about on facebook. we were fortunate to have a break from the rain that morning, and the barn was especially enchanting.

then we headed into town for lunch at 900 degree brick oven pizza, which was delicious. ander, in his classic style, has a ginormous plate of spaghetti and meatballs.
