a matter of perspective

remember when it totally blew diana's mind at the robert ferguson observatory to see a presentation of the size comparisons of our planet vs. our sun vs. really ginormously huge stars?  and our amazement at comprehending (or trying to, at least) our place on the cosmic calendar?

and when i mentioned the fascinating, interactive scale of the universe in regards to diana's affinity for things that are very small?

well, we just watched something else that helps puts things into perspective about the size of the universe and around whom it revolves.

for more thought-provoking ideas, check out minute physics.  this is now added to my treasure chest of science resources.
